We have made various arrangements for your well-being thanks to the granting of a European subsidy (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development – EAFRD): possibility of attaching your bike, campsite fence for your safety, picnic area.

Located in the foothills of the Chartreuse massif, on a large plateau offering a clear view of the surrounding massifs, Saint Etienne de Crossey is a pretty, dynamic village well equipped with local shops.
The municipal campsite has 20 spacious, grassy and well-shaded pitches.
It is accessible to people with reduced mobility, the toilets have recently been adapted. You will find a complete baby area composed of a toilet and a bathtub. The campsite is equipped with electrical outlets and a emptying point reserved for motorhomes.
Access to the village and its shops is on foot or by bike, in complete safety.
You can also enjoy:
- Outdoor sports equipment near the campsite thanks to equipment loans available free of charge: multi-sport field, tennis courts, outdoor ping pong table, pétanque court, basketball court, city stadium, sports course and skate park, something to delight athletes and less sporty people!
- a common room with refrigerator, tables and chairs, book box
- And express tent rental…
All the conditions are there to take an outdoor break or spend a holiday in the countryside.

Reception opening hours
In June and September: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.to 11 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In July and August: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
Outside reception opening hours, installation remains possible, subject to paying for your stay during reception opening hours.

*New for 2023: possibility of lending sports equipment (rackets, pétanque balls), renting tents and possibility of using the nearby sports fields. Payments are made by cash or check only. Cash withdrawal possible in neighboring towns (Voiron 5km, Coublevie 3km). Credit cards and holiday vouchers are not accepted.

You can find a book box set up in the park in front of the town hall and let your children play in the outdoor play area. The village of Saint-Etienne de Crossey is the starting point for many short hiking trails on which you can practice walking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.

Environmental policy
“Earth is not a donation from our parents, it’s our children who lend it us”
Just like the people of Saint-Etienne, we thank you for sorting your waste. Bags for your plant waste are available at reception and sorting bins are located at the entrance to the campsite. The glass containers are nearby.
Our sanitary facilities are spacious and pleasant… despite this, we ask you to limit your water consumption in the shower or when washing.
The washing up and laundry areas remain moments of exchange between campers…communication will be just as good if the water does not flow!
Finally, we practice reasonable mowing…you will understand that the pitches are not perfectly trimmed and mowed.
